ETF Securities Appoints ETFS Marketing LLC to Provide Key Marketing Services in the US

ETF Securities (ETFS), a preeminent provider of commodity Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) in Europe and Asia, has appointed ETFS Marketing LLC to provide marketing, investment research and public relations strategies in the United States.

William Rhind will relocate to New York from London, where he has been instrumental in marketing ETFS products in Europe. He will head the office, and work closely with Brian Kelleher and Eric Kolts, Senior Vice Presidents, on ETFS’ business development efforts in North America.

William Rhind will be Head of Sales & Marketing for ETFS Marketing LLC. William previously worked for the ETFS European marketing agent to lead sales and marketing in the UK & Ireland. Prior to working with ETFS, William spent 5 years working at Barclays Global Investors in their European ETF business. William has worked in the European ETF industry since its inception in Europe. Prior to this, William was an investment banking analyst at Nomura International in London. William is a regular press commentator and specialist guest on TV programs such as CNBC and BBC. William holds a BA in French, Russian, Politics and Economics from the University of Bath, England.

Brian Kelleher has over 11 years of investment management experience. He joins ETFS Marketing LLC from Franklin Templeton Portfolio Advisors, a division of Franklin Resources, where he was a Vice President and the Northeast Regional Director, focusing on separate accounts. Prior to joining Franklin, Brian was a Regional Vice President for J. & W. Seligman & Company, Inc, based in California. Brian held numerous roles at Seligman, ranging from trading to business development and sales; he was responsible for covering multiple product lines, including separate accounts, alternative products, and mutual funds. Brian holds a BA in English from Georgetown University and an MBA with a Finance major from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Brian is a CFA level 2 candidate and holds his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.

Eric Kolts has worked in the commodity and derivatives markets for over 25 years and is widely known as one of the leading authorities on commodity index investing. He joins from S&P where he was the Product Manager for the commodity index business which includes the S&P GSCI and S&P DTI Series of indices. Prior to joining S&P, Eric managed the commodity index business for Dow Jones which centered on the Dow Jones AIG Commodity Index, now the DJ UBS Commodity Index. The DJ UBS Commodity Index and the S&P GSCI Commodity Index are the most widely used global benchmarks for commodity index investing. Eric’s derivatives trading experience started with Prudential Bache on the New York commodities exchanges and shifted to interest rate trading and dealing in the inter-bank money markets with The Bank of New York and Lasser Marshall. Eric moved off the trading floor to strategically develop risk management applications for the buy-side at Dow Jones Telerate and performance analytics at InterSec Research and InvestorForce.com before joining Dow Jones Indexes. Eric holds a BA Economics from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Fordham.
